A trader who built his own desk.
SwiftTrade is a trading terminal in development, founded by Deon Berisha — born in Vaduz in 2009 and trading his own account since 2020.
The idea.
It was always my dream to work for myself in finance. I wrote my first programs at ten and placed my first trades at eleven.
After six years of trading my own account the idea was clear: a terminal like Bloomberg — everything in one place — but leaner, faster to work with and priced for people who trade for themselves. That terminal is SwiftTrade.
Roots.
Born in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, with family roots in Pristina, Kosovo.
Principles.
- Show the math. Every backtest has an out-of-sample window; every model output names its basis.
- Risk first. CVaR before CAGR. Kill switch, limits and pre-trade checks sit in front of every order.
- Plain English. JARVIS speaks in sentences a private client can challenge, not jargon to nod through.
- Auditable. Every order, deploy and sign-in lands in a hash-chained audit log.
Deon Berisha
It was always my dream to work for myself in finance. I was born in Vaduz in 2009, with family roots in Pristina. At ten I wrote my first programs in C and C++, later Python. At eleven I placed my first trades, and I have traded my own account ever since — six years now. Those years gave me the idea for SwiftTrade: something like Bloomberg, but leaner, faster to work with and priced for people who trade for themselves. Today I am seventeen, in the DigiBiz class at HAK Feldkirch, and I am building it.
