Help, diagnostics, answers.

New to SwiftTrade? The setup guide walks through installation, setup and every part of the terminal; the setup wizard sets your preferences again.

Diagnostics

Exports versions, feed and data health, readiness checks and configuration problems as JSON. Secrets are never included: environment variables that look like keys, tokens or passwords are listed by name only.

Frequently asked.

Is anything on screen simulated?

Instruments on the SIM venue come from the built-in market simulator and are labelled SIMULATION everywhere. Options Greeks and surfaces are MODEL outputs. Real venue data is labelled LIVE, DELAYED or STALE by its measured age.

How do I trade with real money?

Not by default. Live trading needs a machine unlock, a configuration unlock, a verified broker, strategies approved through governance and a typed confirmation phrase (docs/TRADING_BOT.md). Paper trading works immediately.

Does the AI place trades?

No. JARVIS narrates live engine state and news events carry sources, timestamps and confidence. Orders only come from strategies that passed validation, through the risk engine — or from you, through the ticket.

I lost my authenticator.

Sign in with one of your recovery codes, then turn two-factor off and on again under Security. Without recovery codes the server operator has to reset your account.

The terminal shows STALE or DISCONNECTED.

The data-health panel (status bar → DATA) shows which feed is late and by how much. Stale prices are never used as live marks.

Documentation

The docs ship with the source: INSTALL, ARCHITECTURE, SECURITY, TRADING_BOT, ORDERFLOW, DATA and the production release checklist live in docs/. In the terminal, Ctrl+K searches documentation headings too.
